John and Harley Masters are proud to be first generation farmers who own and operate Roan View Farm in Bakersville, NC. They embarked on their farming journey with a shared dream: to cultivate a farm that would not only produce quality products, but also serve as a bridge connecting their community to the world of farming.

The Masters believe that farming is not just about growing crops or raising animals; it’s about cultivating experiences that stay with people a lifetime and foster a deeper appreciation of agriculture. At the heart of their mission is a simple yet profound goal: to “Harvest Memories”.

Roan View Farm has expanded to include hay production, small livestock, fresh cut flowers, fresh eggs, and Ag Tourism. They also own Roan View Mercantile located at 31 North Mitchell Ave in Bakersville. Inside you will find products from their farm, soft serve ice cream, sweet treats, grab & go lunch items, retail merchandise, and more.
